Angel Reed

Artistic Director

Reed's passion for the performing arts and dedication to education make her the perfect leader for The Broadway Originals Performing Arts School. With a decade-long career in musical theater, Reed's impressive credits include the Broadway National Tour of "Saturday Night Fever" and the original Broadway cast of "Rock of Ages." Her talent has earned her prestigious awards, such as the Astaire Award for Best Female Dancer in a Broadway show, and notable television appearances.


Reed's commitment to arts education led her to found The Broadway Originals Performing Arts School in 2021. As Artistic Director, she brings her extensive experience and passion for teaching to the forefront. Reed has been a Dance Educator at the National Dance Institute for a decade, where she has inspired elementary school children across NYC with her dynamic teaching methods and dedication to fostering a love for dance. Her experience spans various prestigious institutions, such as the JCC Upper West Side, MVMT Dance Competition Studio, and Broadway For All. She has also been a lead choreographer for numerous productions, including "American Idiot" at The Center for the Performing Arts in Rhinebeck, NY,  KHAN! The Off Broadway Musical Parody, and Playbill’s “Big Broadway Disco” for Pride in NYC.
